Compliance Manager
Location: Stroud, Hybrid
Hours: 22.5 hours per week across 5 days
Salary: GBP30,000 pro rata, some flexibility on salary DOE
Our client is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join their well-established team in Stroud.
You will work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure the day-to-day compliance of the organisation. You will be responsible for Quality Assurance processes and ensuring policies and procedures are up to date.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Compliance Environment and extensive knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities of a Compliance Manager
- Coordinate the Quality Assurance and Compliance function in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage activities to ensure compliance reviews meet deadlines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, processes, and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of Quality Assurance solutions.
- Coordinate and support the Centre Approval application process.
- Format and proof-read specifications and other documents as required.
- Support the Qualification Development Lead with the development and launch of new qualifications.
- Assist the Qualification Development Lead in keeping track of qualification reviews.
- Support the Responsible Officer with the Statement of Compliance and annual review of policies, guides, and manuals.
- Support with the Annual Agreement process whilst reviewing centre activity and reconfirming terms and conditions.
- Organise Compliance meetings with centres to support with Quality Assurance and Assessment processes.
- Ensure actions and risks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
- Daily staff management and supervision.
Key Skills of a Compliance Manager
- Experience working in a Compliance Environment.
- Relevant experience in compliance, support, or similar.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and administration skills.
- IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience of working in the education sector is desirable.
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach is essential.
