Description
- Oversee all financial operations within the organisation.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations.
- Lead, manage and develop the finance team.
- Present financial reports and updates to the board of directors.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.
- Drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of financial processes.
Profile
A successful Director of Finance should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within a not-for-profit organisation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
- An understanding and commitment to the values of the not-for-profit sector.
Job Offer
- An annual salary in the range of GBP45,000 - GBP55,000.
