My Client, a well established, successful, family owned business, are seeking a passionate and experienced Finance Director to join their leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping their future success.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with business growth strategy.
- Lead the finance department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting processes.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize profitability and manage financial risks.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the finance team.
You are the ideal candidate if you possess:
- A minimum of 20 years of experience as a Finance Director (or similar senior financial role) in UK businesses
- A proven track record of success in driving financial growth and profitability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Experience working in a family-owned business environment is a plus.

This role reports directly to the CEO (who is not a member of the family that owns the business) and is based at their office on the outskirts of Plymouth.
