Part Time Finance Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Part time Finance Assistant within the Accounting & Finance department of a respected Higher Education organisation in Nottingham. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, contributing to the smooth running of the department.

Description

The Part time Finance Assistant will report to the Income Manager, duties include but are not limited to:

• Processing all invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assisting with the resolution of any issues related to invoice processing.
• Working closely with the finance team to ensure all invoicing procedures are adhered to.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of invoicing processes.
• Providing general administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.

Profile

A successful Part time Finance Assistant should have:

• A strong administrative background and knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work well in a team environment.
• Experience using finance software

Job Offer

• An hourly rate between cGBP11.50-12.50
• Part time hours (18 hours) spread across a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 days
