GP Administrator/Receptionist Band 3
Brook Street (UK) Ltd are seeking a motivated individual to join our client team as a GP Administrator/Receptionist at Newry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
Working Hours:
- Part Time
- Hourly rate of 11.11, paid weekly
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language or equivalent/higher qualification AND 1 year's experience in a clerical/administrative role
OR
- 2 years' experience in a clerical/administrative role.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Word.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to relate to senior members of staff.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
Knowledge Required:
- Handling telephone calls from a range of sources.
- Understanding of the role of administration to support the overall objective of the Surgery.
- Experience preparing a variety of documents including minutes, letters, reports, and presentations.
- Understanding of confidentiality.
