SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Journalist to join our team. As a Journalist, you will play a crucial role in researching, writing, and reporting news stories across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough research to gather accurate and reliable information for news stories
- Write clear, concise, and engaging articles for print, online, or broadcast
- Conduct interviews with sources to gather first-hand information
- stay updated on current affairs
- Edit and proofread articles for accuracy and clarity
- Research new stories that are relevant to the platform
- Utilise social media platforms to promote news stories and engage with the audience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field (recent graduate or final year student is okay)
- Proven experience as a Journalist or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere for video editing, would be a bonus but not essential
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to the audience
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with social media management tools
