With sales offices, dealer, licenses and customers in various countries and regions, they have a truly international presence.
My client is looking for a Part time and permanent Payroll Manager to join them at their modern Headquarters based in Melksham.
This role is 16 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the monthly payroll for all UK employees c270 employees.
- Upload payroll data into ADP IHCM payroll system.
- Ensure all new legislation and government requirements are met including existing and new company reporting requirements.
- Manage holiday, sickness, absence pay and statutory payments.
- Ensure variable pay is processed correctly and paid on time.
- Produce relevant monthly payroll reports.
- Advise on tax and pay law changes.
- Audit payroll to satisfy Government regulations.
- Develop and refine Payroll processes to remove waste activities.
- Calculate wage increments and variable pay.
- Action Pension auto-enrolment and pension processing.
- Act as main point of contact with HMRC.
- Ensure all Tax Year End procedures are run including P60, P11Ds.
- Process new hires and leavers and associated documentation.
- Resolve Manager/Employee payroll queries.
Background & Skills(s):
Essential
- Previous payroll knowledge and experience.
- Previous variable pay experience.
- A working knowledge of UK Government pay legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work as part of a team, in particular the HR team and Operations team who are responsible for shopfloor employees.
Desirable
- An interest in data analytics
- Manufacturing or Public Sector experience
- Use of ADP Payroll systems (in particular ADP IHCM)
