The Sandringham Hotel has an opportunity to join our friendly reception team within one of the busiest hotels on Weston-super-Mare seafront.
This is a temporary postion to cover sickness and holiday but could lead to a permanent position.
Reception are the first point of contact for our guests who stay with us and as such need to possess excellent customer service skills.
Job roles include but are not limited to
· Welcoming and checking guests into the hotel
· Allocate guests rooms and provide keys
· Taking bookings over the phone, face to face and manage and process online bookings and enquiries
· Answering telephone calls from prospective guests, suppliers, staff and customers, taking and delivering messages
· Carry out general office duties
· Ensure the reception and communal areas are clean and tidy
· Assist with rotas and shift allocations for other departments within the hotel
· Liaise with other departments ensuring the smooth running of the hotel
· Help guests with requests for help and information about local attractions and amenities
· Ensure guests have a high level of service during their stay
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and be computer literate, however training will be given.
You will be liaising with guests and colleagues so a professional enthusiastic manner is essential.
