We are a small boutique guesthouse in the centre of Bath looking for an experienced receptionist. We have 20 rooms and run the guesthouse to a very high standard of service. We are looking for a motivated and reliable candidate, who can join a well-established team with positivity.
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service and hospitality. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests during their stay at our hotel.
A good level of spoken and written English is essential and a working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel would be necessary. Any previous experience with reservation systems and reception work would be preferable.
A typical week would be around 35-40 hours over 5 days. Applicants will need to be able to work weekends. Experience would be preferred but full training is offered.
Daily Responsibilities would be:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accurate information is collected
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
-Set up breakfast room and serve breakfast in the mornings
- Carrying out administrative duties as required

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
