Our Learning and Participation (L&P) programme, based at our Covent Garden and Thurrock homes and across England, aims to inspire creativity, offering people of all ages the chance to discover, question and respond to the power of Ballet and Opera.
ROH East - What do we do?
Our ROH East team are based at our production workshop in Thurrock, Essex.
Our work in the East facilitates local place-based partnerships in Levelling Up for Culture places offering a range of ROH teacher development programmes and creative interventions for children and young people as well as offering support for cultural education partnerships.
The role
This post is one of a two part-time Partnership Managers responsible for the delivery of the Royal Opera House East programme in targeted places. As a team member, each Partnership Manager has specific responsibility for programme development and delivery in the East.
This role will hold relationships and lead activity in Essex, prioritizing Basildon, Castle Point, Harlow and Tendring.
To help place your skills accurately within the ROH East team, this role is similar to a Programme Manager with more focus on relationship management with partners.
A working knowledge of opera and/or ballet is not a pre-requisite, but we are looking for candidates who demonstrate a firm commitment to widening access to the work of ROH.
Living in or close to Essex is advantageous but not essential to the role. A willingness to come to Essex on a fortnightly basis would be required.
