• Basic Salary: £28,000 + £30,000 OTE
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm

My client is a respected main dealer in the Northampton area. They are currently looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their growing team.
The Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the Parts Department within the main car dealership. This position involves providing excellent customer service, accurately identifying and supplying automotive parts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor:

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts.
• Provide expert advice on parts selection and compatibility.
• Accurately identify and locate automotive parts based on customer requests and vehicle specifications.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of stock in the Parts Department.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with parts suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.

Qualifications and experience required for Parts Advisor role:

• Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role or similar position within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their compatibility with various vehicle models.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using parts cataloging systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
