Time Appointments are proud to be working on behalf of a Nationwide business based on the outskirts of Ipswich. Our client is one of the leading providers of material handling equipment and is looking for a vital member of staff to join their team as a parts advisor. As a parts advisor you will be responsible for providing excellent parts support to Field Service, ensuring efficient, timely and accurate response to all parts pricing requests/parts ordering.
The responsibilities include;
· Process and record perpetual and annual stock taking on residential sites and engineer vans.
· Provide parts pricing and availability (via e-mail/telephone/Fax) to field service controllers and customers
· Verification of parts purchase orders. (Parts purchase order price discrepancies)
· Provide parts pricing quotes for the service dept.
· Maintain parts inventory, parts price updates/stock analysis/control of new part numbers
Skills Required
· Strong administrative skills, able to work to deadlines and under pressure
· Excellent PC/system skills (Word/Excel/Power-point)
· Excellent telephone manner
· Strong interpersonal/communication and organisational skills
