Payroll Administrator
Temporary with the possibility of a Permanent role
12.82 per hour, permanent salary 25,000
Hybrid working 2 days in the office in Northampton each week
37.5 hours per week
We are recruiting for a corporate global company based in Northampton. They are a prestigious company with a friendly team and ethos. They are searching for a payroll Administrator to join their payroll team of 5 to help payroll 2000 employees on a monthly bases. Ideally you will have some payroll or finance experience, you must be hardworking and have great attention to detail.

The role
- Work with 4 others to process monthly payroll for 2000 employees
- Update and maintain the payroll systems with accurate information
- Update absence reporting
- Run reports and meet tight deadlines
- Ensure payroll runs smoothly, and employees are paid on time each month
- Deal with queries and provide excellent customer service to all employees
- Build and maintain good working relationships with employees and supporting teams
Experience and skills required
- Previous experience working within a payroll team is desired
- Knowledge of statutory UK and Ireland legislation relating to payroll, including student loans, P45s, payments and deductions, starters and leavers, taxable benefits, NI and tax.
- Must have good Excel skills, Vlook ups, Pivot tables
- Must be highly analytical with great attention to detail
- Must be a strong communicator
- They use a system called ADP Global View, if you have used this it will be a great advantage but is not essential
