We are currently recruiting for a 10 month FTC role, and looking for a candidate is able to get to Reading 5 days a week and start a new role immediately. The appropriate candidate must be immediately available or short notice. The role will include assisting the Payroll Manager and payroll team with monthly payrolls for over 2,500 staff across our hospitals/services and helping where needed within the finance team.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Processing of high-volume end to end payroll, including RTI submissions to HMRC
- Build and maintain positive relationships with managers and admins to facilitate a smooth running of multiple deadline payrolls
- Processing Starters, Leavers and Employee changes through the system
- Resolve queries and disputes in a professional/timely manner
- Prioritise daily tasks to achieve targets/meet deadlines
- Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies via email and telephone
- Deal with complex queries professionally and effectively
- An excellent eye for detail with the ability to use your initiative and follow logic
- Being highly organised, able to work using own initiative and multi-task are a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
- Experience of Sage50 Payroll Software is requires
- Experience in maintaining back-end systems is desirable
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
