Payroll Administrator

Sheridan Maine is delighted to represent our client, a thriving services organisation located near Weymouth, in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator. This opportunity arises due to the company's recent successful growth, and they are now expanding their team to support their continued development.
The role of Payroll Assistant is to ensure the processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, in a timely and consistent manner.
Key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator include:

• Process starters, leavers and update any changes required.
• Process sickness information ensure details are logged and pay is correct.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll reports as needed.
• Processing RTI and pensions information.
• Collaborate effectively with the payroll team and wider business to ensure consistency and efficiency in payroll operations.
• Address employee queries and concerns related to payroll promptly and professionally.

The successful Payroll Administrator will require the following competencies:

• Previous experience in payroll administration is essential.
• Proficient in using Sage software.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• A willingness to improve processes.
