Payroll & Cis Administrator

Permanent Payroll & CIS  Administrator | Woodford or Brentwood | Full Time, permanent | £26,000 to £30,000

Our client is a contemporary firm of ACCA Regulated Accountants under the Royal Charter with offices in London, Essex and Manchester. The team provides compliance and advisory services to individuals and corporations.

You will have the opportunity to work at either the Woodford or Brentwood office. However, there may be a need to travel between both offices.

This is a great opportunity for a Payroll Administrator seeking a permanent position!

Are you the right person for the job?

• Experience using Sage Payroll and/or Bright Pay would be desirable but not essential.

What will your role look like?

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will have control of your portfolio of clients with the main duties covering:

• Managing a portfolio of approx. 300 clients, ranging from Director only - 50 employees, most on a monthly pay frequency
• Taking ownership of payrolls, processing accurately within given time scales
• Submitting CIS returns for Contractors
• Applying for CIS refund for clients.
• Inputting and maintaining accurate data on payroll software
• Completing Auto Enrolment duties and preparing client information
• Preparing emails for clients, informing them of their PAYE liabilities and other payroll-related matters
• Dealing with external agencies e.g. HMRC
• Dealing with internal and client queries
• Accurate understanding of PAYE and NIC legislation
• Advising clients on PAYE regulation
