Payroll & Accounts Administrator for a company in Dudley. The role is full time and 37 hours a week
As member of the finance team reporting into the Finance Director you will be responsible for the following:
Payroll
- Process monthly payroll
- Overtime & absence processing / reporting
- Starter / Leaver processing
- Process payroll journals
- Monthly payroll reconciliation
- Maintaining confidential employee files
- AE pension reporting
- Complete HMRC submissions P60 / P11d / P45 etc
- Payroll year end processing
HR
- Improve HR information & reporting, including:
o Onboarding
o Absence management
o HR document control
o Staff benefits
- H&S document administration - Improve record keeping and reporting
Accounts
- Daily cash postings & reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Raising general ledger payments
- DD record keeping
- Petty cash control (sterling & foreign cash)
- Company car analysis & reporting
- PL / SL cover for holidays etc
Other
- General office admin support
- Shared reception duties - greet visitors, answer phone and distribute calls
You must have experience of the following:
- Experience processing payroll from start to finish
- Experience processing tax year end & HMRC RTI
- Experience / understanding of processing basic accounting journals
- Experience / understanding of completing balance sheet reconciliations (eg bank, payroll control accounts)
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Proactive and positive approach to all tasks undertaken
- Adaptable to new systems & willing to learn new skills
