The role
As part of the Commercial Finance team, the Payroll Team work closely with the HR and Finance teams. They are responsible for both the day-to-day payroll operations (such as calculating and administering pay, handling queries etc) and payroll controls, including providing monthly reporting to the Remuneration Committee.
Flight Centre is a performance orientated organisation with circa 1200 monthly payees; we have a significant number of commission-based payees, alongside a highly-enrolled company share plan, and a comprehensive range of additional benefits. The Payroll Manager is responsible for leading the Payroll Team, and has full ownership of our payroll process. You will be adept at problem solving, excited about collaborating with teams across the business, and passionate about building a high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop on their existing leadership and technical skills.
What we require
- Previous experience as a Payroll Manager having supported tax year end processes
- Proficient in ADP
- A strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge and capabilities (pivot tables, vlookups, filters)
