Key Responsibilities as a Payroll Officer:
• Assisting with all aspects of the internal payroll for approximately 200 staff
• Process fortnightly and monthly payrolls
• Will answer staff payroll queries with confidence
• Collate timesheet and attendance records
• Calculate overtime and bonus payments
• Calculate and process holidays and absence payments
• Processing statutory payments
• Manual calculations
• Completing month end and year end reports
• Making tax code changes and timely Tax & NI payments
• Input new starters and leavers onto the in-house system
Experience required in Payroll
- A minimum of two years experience in payroll
- Basic accounts administration knowledge
- Be able to work on own initiative to deadlines
- Computer systems: Must be proficient in Excel
- User of SAP o similar related software
