Payroll Officer

Your new company
A thriving publishing house with a tech company structure is looking for a Payroll Officer on an interim basis with a view of going potentially permanent. They are looking to add to their finance team where you\'ll be strengthening their headquarters in Surrey.
Your new role
Your new role will see you joining a fast-paced, award-winning organisation, where an amazing development opportunity has arisen. Working with a team that support and nurtures their people and where they are creating a fantastic place and an amazing culture for people to work and enjoy. You will report to the Management Accountant and be responsible for processing and preparing the Payroll function.
Responsibilities will include:

• Processing & Preparing Payroll for upto 300 Employees
• Integration of key data
• Administrative duties
• Assistance with current payroll project

What you\'ll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need to have payroll experience in a commercial environment or in a similar environment. You will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to apply a methodology to ensure a high level of accuracy, experience and understanding of payroll systems, with intermediate Excel skills, & have the ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop common sense, practical solutions to deliver high quality output to tight deadlines.
What you\'ll get in return
This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to go permanent and is paying between £16 - £22 an hour. Hybrid working/WFH options can be discussed during interviews.
