One of the largest NHS Trusts across London are currently looking to hire a permanent Head of Payroll & Pensions to join them.
This is a pivotal role for the business and will not only look after a very large payroll, it will also be responsible for a very large team.
Reporting into senior management, key duties of Head of Payroll & Pensions will be :
- Overall management of a payroll size that exceeds 20,000+ employees.
- Daily management of 8 reports however wider responsibility of a team that is 45+ staff
- Delegation & distribution of workload
- Manage individual performances & identifying areas of training and development
- Create and provide payroll reports and data to senior stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement
To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent people leadership and fully up to date payroll legislation knowledge.
Whilst not essential, it would be advantageous if candidates have worked with NHS payrolls previously.
