Pensions Support Manager
- Contract Type: Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)
- Location: Great Sankey, Cheshire
- Salary: £200 - £255 per day (PAYE) or £245 - £321 per day (Umbrella)
- Job Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
- Full time role (would consider part time applications, minimum of 4 days)
We have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Pensions Support Manager to join a fantastic team within a utilities company. This role offers valuable experience in a supportive environment and is ideal for a Pension’s specialist seeking a challenging yet rewarding position.
Day to day of the role:
- Act as the Pension Scheme secretary for the group, attending Trustee meetings, producing agendas, meeting papers, and taking minutes.
- Assisting with Trustee Report and Accounts, and governance tasks such as risk register, budget papers, schedule of events
- Assist with Trustee and Company pension projects as required.
- Assist with pension communications, including presentations, briefings, newsletters, benefit statements, booklets, and website content.
- Handle complex member queries and escalate as appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with defined benefits pension schemes, in a scheme secretarial, consultancy or senior administrator role.
- Working towards a professional pension’s qualification ( Certificate Member of Pensions Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent)
- Excellent technical understanding of defined benefit and defined contribution pensions.
- Proficient in producing minutes from complex meetings.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to address complex pensions queries with strong problem-solving skills.
