An Innovative and forward-thinking Consultancy specialising in sustainability strategy is looking to recruit a switched on and passionate People and Operations Manager.
In this role you will be supporting the Head of People & Operations, tackling the challenges of a fast-growing department and business, and supporting the continuous identification of operational improvements as we scale.
The responsibilities of the role will offer you the chance to gain experience of, and manage, a broad range of operational functions and duties. This role would suit someone who enjoys getting their teeth into new challenges regularly. You'll be given plenty of exposure and autonomy from day one - if you are hungry to learn and develop, and own core processes, you will receive the growth, guidance and freedom to do so.
Duties:
- Designing, implementing and managing new systems and processes
- Researching and supporting large strategic and operational projects such as infrastructure changes, systems development, change management, and policy design
- Managing HR systems and processes, maintaining compliance and high levels of best practice
- Monitoring all employee life-cycle events: recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisals etc.
- Organising moments of delight and internal events e.g. birthdays, annual socials, strategy away days
- Owning and managing ad hoc operations projects
Your experience
- Strong experience within administration including experience within operations or HR
- Experience implementing processes and procedures
- Recruitment/Onboarding experience
- A high level of proficiency in MS Office 365
- Highly organised with a high work rate, able to thrive in a busy environment, juggling multiple competing priorities and responsibilities
- Have a high level of attention to detail and confidence to challenge potential errors
- Ability to work autonomously and as a key team player
- Able to utilise a confident communication style to manage stakeholder expectations
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner
- Ability to pick up new software and tools with ease
- Energised by working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be curious and seek to learn and improve whilst instilling solutions wherever appropriate
- A genuine interest in the environment, and sustainability would be ideal
