About your role
We are looking for a People & Talent Assistant in Resourcing to work alongside our current team to manage, develop and grow this critical part of our business. This is a great opportunity to start your career in the people profession role and be part of a collaborative and motivated team. Many of our team started in this role so you’ll be in good company.
Responsibilities:Resource Support:
- Supporting with placing consultants with the desired skillsets onto client engagements.
- Attend regular meetings with department leads to review their current and future resourcing needs.
- Meet with consultants to gather information on their capabilities and area of work for which they are most passionate.
- Manage the CV database and ensure this is updated and reflective of consultant’s current skills and experience.
Associate (Contractor) management:
- Manage the existing Associate pool and pipeline.
- Keep the existing Associate pool actively engaged, e.g. with weekly emails gathering availability
- Work with our existing Resourcing Advisor and Recruitment team to service Associate resourcing requests
- Provide reports on the availability and skills in the Associate network.
- Support contractual requirements to onboard Associates onto client projects e.g. DBS checks, schedules and contracts.
Agency management
- Actively engage with our trusted agency partners for interim roles.
HR admin & support
- Manage our internal vetting process and ensure our consultants have the correct vetting requirements for their roles
- Adhoc support for the rest of the People & Talent team, which could include supporting with inductions and recruitment assessment centres
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, we think you’ll need:
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience, as an administrator or similar role, ideally within a professional services environment.
- A passion for working in a People & Talent team and building your career in HR
- To be confident, friendly and approachable with the ability to develop good relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and manage ambiguity well.
- To demonstrable problem-solving and decision making skills
- To be someone who takes initiative with a proactive and can-do attitude and a good team player
- Proficiency in Office 365 including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and Forms
- Knowledge and understanding of IR35 and compliance are beneficial but not essential.
