We are looking for volunteers to join the Human Resources division of our People Services Team. People Services aims to promote and support a culture which underpins an environment considered to be a great place to work and volunteer. If you are an experienced HR professional and would like to share your skills with us, or you are an experienced administrator and are looking to gain experience within a HR environment, we would love to hear from you.

What will I be doing?
You will be supporting the HR division of the People Services team with tasks related to recruitment. This could include;
- onboarding staff
- requesting and chasing documents
- checking and recording personal documents related to right to work and ensuring compliance
Our aim is to become paper free, and you will play a pivotal role in helping us review the paper-based personnel files against the electronic copy, scanning any relevant documents before securely destroying the paper files. You will also help with electronic filing and other ad hoc tasks.
Where? Martlets Hospice, Wayfield Avenue, Hove, BN3 7LW
When? Ideally 2 half days, but this is flexible. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Once training has been completed it may be possible to work some hours remotely.
Anything else I should know? You will help us to deliver an excellent service to our Martlets People. You will need to have excellent administrative skills and experience using the Microsoft suite. You will also be using our recruitment and people system, for which training will be provided.
