Job description

Salary: £50-65K

At Seatfrog, we're shaking up the rail industry with our innovative platform, changing the game for rail operators and passengers alike. We were the first to market with our solution which enables rail operators to sell unsold first-class seat; generating ancillary revenue and providing passengers with incredible upgrade deals.

We've come a long way since then. We’ve revolutionised the way people can travel by rail; expanded our platform allowing passengers to buy train tickets, and swap their trains at the last minute all at the click of a few buttons. But we're not done yet - we have more exciting products on the way that will transform the way people experience rail travel.

Looking for the next stop on your career journey?

We’re looking for a Performance Analyst to join the Passenger Squad, and closely partner our Marketing Team. Ideally you’ll have a background in e-commerce, and a great understanding of cross-device analytics, apps in particular. You’ll develop a deep understanding of Seatfrog’s products and their performance, coming to understand the behaviours of our customers. You’ll leverage this intelligence and pair it with Marketing analysis to deliver a narrative of overall performance to the Head of Product, Marketing Lead, and the Leadership Team. Ultimately you’ll influence the evolution and progression of Seatfrog performance and will use cunning statistical analysis and commercial awareness to challenge the norm and identify new opportunities and improvements in marketing growth and efficiency. Join Seatfrog and you’ll be surrounded by people who are just as brilliant as you.

You’ll:

  • Work with developers and establish clear tracking requirements/ definitions - speed, yet accuracy is key
  • Generate and iterate hypotheses in the consumer product space providing learnings and/or commercial benefit
  • Partner with UX, Design and Marketing to establish tracking needs upfront, and define success metrics

  • Report on Marketing campaign impacts
  • Build reports to support our Consumer proposition and growth ambitions
  • Respond to all teams’ ad hoc analytic requests

  • Statistical methods and data/web analysis software
  • Analysis of Marketing data across multiple channels
  • Experiment analysis and planning - even better if you have experience in multivariate testing
  • Balancing the need for accuracy and efficiency in a fluid, startup and entrepreneurial environment

  • Automating processes to efficiently manage reporting requirements, and ensure timeliness of information
