The Housing Management and Maintenance Sections of the Housing Division are supported by a Performance and Quality Officer. We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced person to the vacancy for this post.
The post holder provides management support services for the Sections. System support is integral to the role, whether through the provision of robust procedures and clear service standards, or by ensuring IT software is used and developed to its full capacity to provide for efficient working and comprehensive management reports. The post holder also acts to ensure the Sections know whether they are providing good quality services for customers by setting up qualitative monitoring procedures and reporting on them to managers and tenants. The Performance and Quality Officer leads on performance management which includes collecting and monitoring key performance indicators and collating customer satisfaction feedback as well as seeking out and contributing to benchmarking activity. Promoting tenant involvement and scrutiny of services is also part of the role.
This role is an opportunity for applicants who have a sound knowledge of housing and are willing to challenge current practice to bring about improvements. Applicants need to show experience of working with software systems to support service efficiency, have a good working knowledge of performance management systems and methods of finding out about customer satisfaction as well as excellent customer care skills.
