Job Title: Personal Care Europe SUIT Engineer
Location: Leeds Factory
JOB PURPOSE
The role is a member of the Cluster Engineering Team of Personal Care Europe responsible for coordination between the stake holders which are Sourcing Unit , R&D, Innovation, Engineering, Global teams, SEAC and any third parties as required for data collections, update and inform the status of various projects.
The role will be responsible for all aspects of data collection, network management and reporting the status of capex implementation projects, environmental projects, transformation project updates, special projects, and process/engineering improvements for PC Europe sites.
Delivery Engineer will be responsible to ensure that projects and all tasks are executed on time with a strong focus on construction safety, quality, budget & schedule adherence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Principal Responsibilities
Work independently to deliver an agreed portfolio of projects under the leadership of the relevant Project Delivery Manager.
Ensure professional project execution at Factories and Sites with strong stakeholder engagement.
Support PDM to check feasibility of capex projects working with Cluster Design Engineers and SU personnel to clarify the brief, understand work scope, rough costs, and viable timelines.
Work with the Design and Capability Engineers to develop Concept, FEED and Detailed Designs to meet the business need inputting local requirements and constraints.
Develop Project Execution Plan and schedule as input to the FEED report.
Execute the project ensuring adherence to schedule, budget. Manage site construction and contractors ensuring Unilever Construction Standards are followed.

Professional Engineering Skills (Educated to degree standard in an engineering discipline)

Essential
5-6 Years experience of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry
Project Management experience
Strong diligence and ability to deliver projects to a high engineering standard.
Desirable:
Good Plant Design and Project Engineering experience in FMCG co and relevant Engineering consultancy firms
Working knowledge on International Engineering Standards
Technical capability (Desirable):
Proficiency in MS Office – Excel / Power Point and Word
Travel:
1 – 2 weeks away from home per quarter
Working knowledge on Engineering software - AutoCAD, 3D’s Primavera & Agile

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs.
