An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a leading Legal firm in the Surrey area. You will be assisting within the Personal Injury/ Clinical Negligence department.
You will be working alongside experienced lawyers Personal Injury experts pursuing Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases on behalf of injured individuals.
The matters you will come across include accidents at work, fatal accidents, road traffic accidents and slips and trips.
Duties:
- Typing digital and copy typing of documents.
- Filing.
- Managing diaries and arranging meetings.
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and third-party solicitors.
- Preparing bundles and collating witness statements.
- Any further secretarial duties as required.
Desired skills:
- Have previous legal secretarial experience ideally within PI / Clinical Negligence.
- At least 2 years' experience.
- MOJ Portal experience necessary.
- IT literate and experience audio typing.
- Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using case management systems

- Full time: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
- £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
