Salary: Up to £52,000.00 + Benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for an MSK Physiotherapist - Team Lead to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive postgraduate general physiotherapy experience.
- Previous experience of managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals with a challenging environment.
- Chartered Physiotherapist.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
Duties of this role include:
- Lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
- Lead the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
- Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
- Responsibility for the daily management and daily running of the physiotherapy department, with support from the Director of Clinical Services, ensuring safe provision of staffing that meets activity by workforce planning, monthly rostering and daily review.
- To provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to the department.
- To organise the inpatient physiotherapy rotas, weekend and on-call cover ensuring that at all times there is adequate cover within the department.
