Your new role working as a PI Property Account Executive where you will be working for one of the largest established leading retail broking business based in the City of London and regions. Your new Brokers support SME, mid-market commercial, Professional lines and personal lines customers with specialist needs. They are recognised as a innovative leader in each of their business areas and provide tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of customers, either directly or via independent brokers. Due to the substantial growth within the Professions team, a new role working as a PI Account Executive has arisen.
Your new role
Working as a PI Account Executive, you will look after clients based both in the City and surrounding areas dealing with clients from inception through to completion. The main purpose of the role is to handle your own portfolio of clients and retain and grow the PI book focusing on growth. You will work within the Financial & Professional Risk (FINPRO) division, assisting in the retention of the client portfolio and the identification of new development/growth opportunities. The book is made up of long-standing Professional Indemnity clients who you will liaise with regularly. You will also work closely with a team of dedicated and capable Account Handlers who will assist you as well as liaising extensively with Underwriters. Other duties will include Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities utilising all leads provided to you and preparing any technical documentation.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have experience working as a senior Account handler or Account executive in Professional Indemnity and or FI is essential for this role. Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients and have passion and flair for new business (essential) or to upsell or cross sell. Great customer service and communication skills as well as Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily are essential.
