Warehouse and Stock Control Associate
Location: Winsford, Winsford Industrial Estate
Type: Permanent/ Full time
Shift: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm
Breaks: One 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minute breaks each day
Salary: £11.54 per hour, £25,500 per annum

We are looking for a helpful Warehouse and Stock Control Associate in our Winsford warehouse to help with picking and packing. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Please see details below.
Part of a highly successful Europe-wide group with a turnover in excess of £400m, H2eCommerce, based in Cheshire, specialises in printer consumables, printers and stationery supplies. We have two busy warehouses locally- one in Crewe and one in Winsford.Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Team Leader, the Associate will play an important role in the smooth running of the business.
This role involves picking and packing of outgoing items for shipping and getting the warehouse ready for deliveries and posting the following day.
You will be receiving and checking incoming deliveries of stock. You will have the responsibility of checking for any discrepancies between paperwork and actual delivery of items. The successful candidate will also maintain stock replenishment, stock rotation and involvement in stock-take activity as and when required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Pick and pack items for customer orders.
· Receive and check all deliveries to the warehouse.
· Dispatch goods to customers. Quickly and with care for the product and the appearance of the package. Make sure all correct paperwork is in each package and input data into computer system to say the package has been dispatched.
· Record incoming stock onto our computer system.
· Check off items as they arrive. Contact the Buying team with irregularities.
· Transfer stock to the correct warehouse as required.
· Keep products tidy and take care when handling products so as not to damage the products or the packaging.
· Maintain stock rotation and take part in stock checks as and when necessary, with the wider team.
· Recycle waste from packaging and work to GDPR when disposing of paperwork.
· Maintain good working relationships with staff. We like a positive attitude and a kind nature. Be helpful and courteous to colleagues and management.
· Maintain a professional image at all times.
· Complete health and safety training as required.
Skills Required:
· Recent experience of working in a warehouse environment, or a similar environment such as a supermarket or a large retail store/ ecommerce distribution centre. This is not a food production environment and at present there are no conveyor belt systems.
· Alert and aware, able to keep up with the deliveries and confident to question any discrepancies as you see fit.
· Team player, happy to lend a hand. This department is helpful and hardworking and complete really tidy work that they are proud to distribute.
· Happy to receive tasks from the Team Leader, in line with a respectful task load.
· Confidential when receiving goods for the business and when destroying customer details.
· Takes pride in work and has a keen eye for detail.
· Good communicator. Able to speak a good level of English.
· Comfortable using computers at a basic level- inputting information, sending emails etc.
· Excellent standards of customer service.
