Introduction
This is a hybrid role so you will be able to work from home some of the time provided you are able to be onsite when required.
My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who deliver vital services and manage complex assets on behalf of their customers across defence and nuclear.
They are looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to work within an engineering team and conduct critical engineering assessments across a range of naval projects.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct multiple Pipe Stress analyses
- Work in conjunction with an integrity management system
- Create technical documentation for Pipe Stress Analysis
- Conduct analysis using Bentley AutoPIPE
Skills & experience
- Health and safety conscious
- Experience using Pipe Stress Analysis software
- Able to complete the modelling of pipe systems on submarine platforms
- Prior experience using Bentley AutoPIPE or the ability to pick this up quickly
