Planning Manager

Your new company
I am delighted to be supporting an engineering business who is involved in the renewable market on the appointment of a Planning Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Your new role
This role, reporting to the Site Director, will be responsible for the overview of the general planning for the production site. You will work closely with a wider management team to ensure projects align with the planning and production capacity for the site. You will also be responsible management of the finished goods and raw materials to ensure the facility is running smoothly and safely. As well as working to plan the site, and support with production planning, you will be responsible for managing the transport team responsible for the movement of good in and out of the site.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a production planning background, where you have experience managing daily planning, and responsibility for longer-term planning, sequencing, and scheduling. You will have experience of recognising peaks in production, as well as experience managing a busy and large warehouse facility to ensure goods are moved effectively and efficiently to ensure minimal downtime in production.
