Pertemps Crawley are working as recruitment partner for our client BOC, looking for a Plant Operations Manager to join their successful, world-renowned brand at their Morden site. As Plant Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and being responsible for both production and commercial success.
The Role:
- Overseeing all production operations
- Management of 40+ plant staff - including 1 to 1s and training
- Stock management and machinery maintenance
- Assessing and improving production methods to maximise efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Responsible for quality control
- Setting the standard and over seeing H&S standards and primary contact for HSE and external parties
- Management of plant P&L
- Being the 'face' of the business for client visits and inspections
- Acting as the site landlord
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the production/manufacturing industries
- HND or Degree in an Engineering or Chemistry field
- NEBOSH qualified or working towards the qualification
- Working knowledge of H&S legislation and ISO9001:2008 - ISO14001
- A proactive yet personable approach
- Excellent personnel management and communication skills
The Package:
- Salary of up to £62,000 (dependent on relevant experience).
