We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager at DP World, our successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the policies and procedures related to finance management and budget preparation for DP World UK Ports.
Our successful candidate will develop policies and procedures related to finance management and budget preparation. You will promote strong Business Partnering with departments and stakeholders to provide advice on financial affairs and provides advice on financial management issues. We need an ambitious, fully qualified Finance Manager to focus on process improvement and strengthening our finance structure. You must be an excellent communicator, with people management experience, ideally from a large organisation.
Location: Stanford le Hope, Hybrid remote (must live within a commutable distance)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

About the Role
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & KPI’s;
- Manage the Port “Revenue” function, by ensuring billing systems and processes are efficient, comprehensive and workable for the customer. Key aspects include protection from revenue leakage and ensuring the IT / Billing systems are appropriate for DP World Ports and Terminals and our customers;
- Prepare regular updates to Forecasts;
- Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual reports Port management, Regional and Head Office teams;
- Reporting of Revenue Analysis and overseeing Debtor performance;
- Reporting of Capital Expenditure performance;
- Preparation & Supervision of Annual Budget under the ultimate direction of Finance Director;
- Supervision & Preparation of key reconciliations in conjunction with Accountants and Financial Reporting team;
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous learning. Provide coaching and support to facilitate professional growth and development.
- Liaise & supervise internal and external audits;
- Responsible for ensuring maintenance of the billing system and tariffs as overarching manger of these roles Maintain professional knowledge of key accounting standards and practices;
What you will bring
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant in a recognised professional Accountancy qualification; CIMA, ACCA, ACA Leadership or managerial qualification will be advantageous.
Experience
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Demonstrable leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and developing high performing teams. Experience working within a large finance team for an international organisation
