The Role
In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence solutions with a focus on Power BI and the Microsoft stack and to support data collection and analysis, ensuring our business intelligence delivery aligns with our mission and objectives. Among others, your accountabilities will include:
- Designing and producing insightful reports primarily using Power BI and other Microsoft stack tools
- Designing and developing technical solutions in Power BI and Azure data platform
- Working with different departments to support data collection and analysis
- Transforming data into actionable information to monitor and understand KPIs

What we're looking for
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who has a passion for data and its potential to drive value and impact at the Law Society. As the Law Society's internal Power BI expert, you'll be a confident user in Azure Data Platform, with a strong background in data handling & analysis, and relevant experience of using Power BI to build and maintain dataflows, semantic models, reports and dashboards (inc. DAX and M language).
You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into lay terms, alongside the ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders.
