My client is looking for a Power BI Developer to join their team.
Location: London
Position: Permanent
On-site Requirements: Hybrid
Salary: TBC
As a Power BI Developer you will:
- Lead Power BI administration and ensure adherence to best practices and quality assurance, managing changes through CR processes.
- Work alongside stakeholders and internal teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into engaging visuals.
- Troubleshoot end-user support requests and conduct analysis
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance the value and adoption of Power BI and related products.
- Provide training and support for colleagues to drive self-service analytic
- Coordinate with IT Operations to ensure consistency in design approach within M365 environments a
- Facilitate documentation, training, and mentoring for wider support and development capabilities.
As a Power BI Developer you will have:
- Expertise in developing, testing and supporting content in Power BI/Fabric.
- Great communication skills, both technically and with stakeholders
- Experience in Power Query, SQL, DAX, and M, with knowledge of Business Systems and Azure Platform.
- Strong understanding of data modeling best practices, performance tuning, and data governance.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and data attributes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Release Management, and Data Governance and Compliance tools like Purview.
- A PL-300 MS Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with various tools including Power BI Fabric, Azure Synapse, Power Apps, Alteryx, O365, and Modern Workplace fundamentals.
