Contract – FTC up to 6 Months
Location – Belfast (Hybrid options available)
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic PR and Communications professional to join our Northern Ireland External Affairs team.
You will be part of a team working to create positive societal change, challenging attitudes, promoting policy, and advocating for and with blind and partially sighted people. Together, we will strive to build the perfect world for everybody with sight loss.
You will play a key role in creating and delivering impactful and integrated communications campaigns for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people.
Working with External Affairs colleagues, wider RNIB services staff and volunteers, you will ensure that the voice of people living with sight loss is at the core of our messaging, through compelling story – telling, via news releases, social media campaigns, media briefings, and events management. You will also promote the work of the wide range of RNIB services and support available in Northern Ireland.

To be successful to this role you will need to comfortable working in a team environment, building successful relationships internally and externally.
You will need to be a passionate advocate for social change, with the ability to communicate face to face and through a wide range of media with our many audiences.
The role will require working cross multiple projects at the same, demonstrating good planning skills and attention to detail.
