Pre Construction Manager

Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting a UK based interior fit out specialist in their search for a Preconstruction Manager to join their Team. This is an opportunity to be site based in West London on a 6 month contract.
Our client is a UK wide specialist interior fit out company that take pride in the developments they deliver and have regenerated various construction schemes across the UK.

The successful candidate will be a graduate with at least 10 years industry experience and a demonstrable career, ideally working on Design and Build office interior fit out projects for well-established clients. As Senior Pre-Construction Manager/Senior Project Co-ordinator, you will be fully responsible for assigned projects.

You will lead, guide, manage and support the project teams, including other PreConstruction team members, Design and the Business Development ("BD") team - primarily up to handover to the Build team, but to be available post-handover.

You will be responsible for owning assigned projects up to formal appointment, driving the relevant project team members to ensure tenders, whether negotiated or competitive, are managed fully and appropriately. You will also be responsible for managing the Pre-Construction team.

Excellent management, communication and presentation skills are a pre-requisite combined with a keen understanding of the design process and commercial nature of a turnkey design and build business.
