Salary: £35,577 - £36,567 per annum (contractual planned overtimes £23.75 per hr)
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks per year
Our client has been a high performing school since its inception in 1887. They were the highest performing school for progress in Haringey in 2017/2018 and consistently perform in the top 20% of schools nationally. They are one of the best schools in the borough and their students and outcomes prove this year on year.
The Premises Manager will lead a team of premises assistants, cleaning, and security staff in maintaining the school’s capital stock, infrastructure, and equipment to provide a learning environment that is safe and fit for purpose at all times. She/he will manage and monitor the work of external contractors.
Applicants must have a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths plus a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a premises related area.
Experience of working within the education sector is desirable.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Ability to demonstrate good administrative and organisational skills.
- A competent level of IT expertise in a range of packages to support compliance and audits.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately in writing and orally with a variety of audiences.
- Management skills including supervision of a team, prioritizing, delegation, target setting, forward planning, and monitoring.
- Ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail.
You will be expected to work a flexible shift pattern between the hours of 6am and 10pm, five days out of seven per week, Monday to Sunday.
