SalaryAn exciting Insurtech brand owned by a Top 3 UK General Insurer is looking to hire a Pricing Manager to join its digital-only Motor business. The successful applicant will be a Python specialist with the capacity to take responsibility for select projects, including pricing modelling and telematics-based product development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction, optimisation and implementation of rating models.
- Unfair treatment and customer consideration responsibility.
- Merge and refactor work into the python rating API codebase, ensuring a high standard of code quality is maintained.
- Form strong relationships with managers and peers, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders.
- Head up a small team of direct reports, developing their technical skills and market knowledge.
- Liaise with other divisions across Retail & wider Group to support collaboration.
Skills & Experience:
- Significant Python and/or Data Science knowledge/experience required.
- Higher education (equivalent grades of 2:1 or higher) in a numerate discipline.
- Telematics experience beneficial but not essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of statistical techniques used within insurance pricing.
- Innovative thinker with desire to pick up new skills and proficiencies in new tools.
- As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

Salary: Up to £85,000
