Our Lifecycle Segment in Aberdeen are now looking for Principal Construction Engineers. 

What will you be doing?

• Provide input to development of jobcards and ensure prepared job cards are in line with construction requirements, commissioning strategy and offshore execution plans
• Support Offshore Construction team by being primary contact for any concerns regarding progress, timesheets, manpower, tooling or materials
• Responsible for management of Site Queries from onshore from registering in MIPS and keeping latest statuses maintain
• Responsible for raising requisitions if needed for urgent material/tooling support to offshore
• Responsible for physical verification of materials prior to sending offshore to ensure aligned with jobcard to be executed
• .Responsible for ensuring 2 week gate compliance of all scopes planned offshore is achieved
• Travel offshore as appropriate in the pursuit of project delivery

We think you should have:

• Educated to HND (essential)
• Educated to Degree level (preferred)
• In depth understanding of the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry
• In depth knowledge and understanding in all key aspects of construction & commissioning.
• Knowledge and understanding of project planning, systems and tools
• Strong commercial awareness within the execution of construction workscopes
• Relevant demonstrable experience within a similar environment / industry.
• Upstream knowledge of oil & gas projects.
• Demonstrable management, leadership and technical experience within construction environment
• Significant turnkey EPC projects.
• HUC Projects
• Large brownfield modifications.
• Minor brownfield modifications and term contracts.
• Front End Studies
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
