One of the UK's leading commodities firms is looking for a Principal Application Support Analyst to provide support for all front office applications.

This is a unique opportunity to join a flat-structured team where you will have the visibility and opportunity to influence decision making with your creative ideas. You will develop a deep understanding of both in-house and vendor applications, and have the opportunity to drive automation via the regular use of scripting.

As you'll be joining on a Principal level, you will be deputising for the Front Office Team Lead. Responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership in Team Lead's absence
• Offer mentoring and support for more junior members
• Take ownership over major incidents
• Be dependable and have the knowledge to contribute to strategy and support approach

This is a hybrid role, requirements are 2-3 days in office (every Friday WFH).

Role Requirements:

• Financial Services experience
• Front Office experience
• Need to be capable and confident enough to deal with front office users / manage major incidents
• SQL
• Bonus – Azure, Commodities, Scripting, Kubernetes, C#, < 2 month notice, Trayport
• Will question ability to think outside the box– ideal candidate will bring in new, fresh ideas
