Position: Principal Housing Assets Officer 
Permanent Contract
Full-time (37 hours per week) 
Salary: AG9 - £48,474- £52,468 per annum plus essential car user allowance
Location: Leek & Buxton, Hybrid working 
The Principal Housing Assets Officer role has been newly created within the
Council’s Asset Management Team to support the delivery of the Housing Revenue account with specific focus on strategy and delivery of the asset management plan.
The successful applicant will take the lead in implementing the Asset Management Strategy and oversee the delivery of the Asset Management Plan, including the development of a decarbonisation strategy, the growth and stock renewal strategies.
You will have experience in managing a diverse residential portfolio, implementing long term strategic growth and sustainability plans as well as ensuring that the Council remain fully compliant with all aspects of legislation and best practice.
Knowledge of all issues affecting residential lettings is essential. 
To be successful in this role, the Candidate will need to work autonomously, deliver at a high level and create strong relationships both within the Council and with external suppliers and advisors.
