The Post
Through the application of high level Development Management, negotiation, engagement, customer service and project management skills, to make a significant contribution to the regeneration of the borough through the innovative and practical development of Major and Strategic proposals for planning permission to ensure that growth and regeneration in the borough is delivered in line with the Brent Local Plan and Borough Plan objectives.
The Development Management team deal with a number of strategic development proposals delivering hundreds to thousands of new homes and significant amounts of commercial and community space, securing hundreds of millions of pounds of investment and Community Infrastructure Levy within the borough.
 

The Person


The post holder would be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and developers and take a proactive approach managing complex cases and ensuring timely decisions. We are seeking a candidate with a significant amount of experience and a proven record of dealing with complex major cases with a view to appoint at the upper end of the range.
