Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer

The role of Process Engineer will be instrumental in supporting senior leadership in Production to drive Continuous Improvement and a lean culture for the business. Proactive problem-solving skills, an understanding of lean methodologies and a growth mindset is what my client is looking for - you could be from any industry (Electronics background is not a must have)

Description

• Project Management: manage projects from start to finish,which includes but not limited to layout preparation, equipment commissioning & compiling supporting documentation
• Using CIP & LEAN principles to root cause and problem solve - ways to reduce production costs, improve efficiency and yield
• Working closely with Production leaders in driving Continuous Improvement and a lean culture for the business
• Proactive problem-solving support of reoccurring productions issues including downtime, performance and quality issues using various problem-solving techniques eg; 5Y's, Fishbone, 8D's, etc
• Compile and manage supporting documentation for all new and existing equipment: SOP's, BOM's, PFMEA, ECR's, ECO's, etc
• Promoting Health and Safety standards
• Liaise with supply chain, production, technical teams to enable Continuous Improvement of all performance & quality related KPIs in line with the company objectives

• Good understanding of lean principles / methodologies to problem solve and ensure production efficiencies
• Data driven approach towards problem - solving
• Growth mindset and a team player
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop (you will have all the support - additional coaching / training if required)
