A global leader in high quality, safety-critical products that save lives are looking for a Process Engineer who will work closely with various departments, supporting production leaders by enabling continuous improvement and managing projects from start to finish. Info about what the role entails
The Process Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
- Managing projects from cradle to grave, involving layout preparation, equipment commissioning & supporting documentation.
- Reduce production costs and increase productivity by using CIP & LEAN principles.
- Support the day to day running of operations by assisting production leaders.
- Providing solutions to reoccurring production issues using problem-solving skills such as 5Y s, Fishbone, 8D s etc.
- Working collaboratively with other teams to enable continuous improvement of performance across all departments e.g. Production, Supply Chain and the Technical Team.
Requirements of the Process Engineer
- Good understanding of OEE, BOM s and Project Management.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, e.g. VSM, 5S, 8 wastes.
- A self-starter who reacts proactively to change in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have attributes of the Process Engineer
- Exposure working within a regulated environment/industry
- Experience working for an electronics manufacturing company
