The role
As a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be responsible for delivering value for the business through the agreement and implementation of supplier contracts and deployment of a framework for management of key supplier relationships, whilst ensuring the delivery of day to day operational procurement activities.
Day to day the Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for end to end Procurement and Supply Chain activity for the London Fire Brigade (LFB) Fleet contract, including but not limited to:

• Spend/category segmentation
• Market analysis for future requirements
• Supplier due diligence
• Leading effective RFP processes to deliver tangible value to the business
• Leading negotiation to ensure agreement of robust supplier contracts and/or framework agreements
• Managing the delivery, mobilisation and integration of procured solutions into the operation
• Open order book reviews with suppliers, with level of engagement driven by risk profile
• Maintenance of contracts/pricing in ERP system

Experience of the Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist:

• Experience in Procurement & Contract Management
• Experience of working in a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) based procurement environment
• Supplier Contract Management experience - Management of supplier contracts and relationships
• Fleet / Automotive / Vehicle Workshops sector procurement experience (desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence

This is a full-time role based at our Ruislip site with 2 to 3 days per week on site with working from home the rest of the week.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role and you must have a valid UK drivers licence.
