Procurement Consultant for Construction Consulting Firm - Public Sector Specialist - London - £55,000-£70,000
This boutique construction and infrastructure Consulting Firm are looking for a Procurement Consultant to join their ambitious team, to work on key public sector projects.
This rapidly expanding firm undergo transformational change as they expand their procurement function. This firm offers the opportunity to work on major capital projects across the country, working closely with key central government departments. You will liaise closely with both internal and external stakeholders, bringing insight and strategic procurement solutions to multi-billion pound capital projects. This role offers the chance to make a difference, working within the public sector, whilst building your portfolio to enhance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key public body stakeholders to develop and implement innovative procurement strategies that meet client objectives.
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and standards.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including strategic sourcing, drafting tender documents, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Procurement Consultant.
- Proven success in delivering or consulting on procurement projects within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and processes, including standard form contracts.
- Current SC clearance is preferable. MUST be eligible.
